I love writing, telling stories, and taking pictures so creating this blog was meant for me!  I love sharing what makes me happy.  My blog name is a combination of things:  Poppy is my sons nickname, Harley is my black lab, and Love is my hubby and family..all of whom are infinite inspirations to me.

I got hitched to my better half on March 4, 2009 (get it?? March 4th..as in march forth together. Aren’t we cheesy!), and I couldn’t be more proud than to be his Mrs.   I’m a mid-30’s mom of one (2 if you count our dog), and a stepmom to a son and daughter.  I’m a book reader, avocado lover, photography enthusiast, yoga doer, and I’m always looking for something creative to do.  Who knows, I may include some how-to’s in this blog!  Don’t hold your breath though ~ I’m a gemini, and get distracted easily so sometimes I …

My son is the smile on my face, as sweet as my mom, as funny as my dad, and the strong/sensitive type we all strive to be.  He definitely has my wit and charm, and is learning quite nicely how to use them.  He’s the true love of my life.

My dog is an everyday reminder to never stop playing, always greet people you love with a smile and a kiss, and never ever hold a grudge.  He always makes me laugh.  He loved his Headless Horseman costume for Halloween this year.

My husband is my best friend, my foundation, my hero and my soulmate.  He never stops laughing at with me, and has a clever way of knowing me even when I don’t.  He’s the Laurel to my Hardy.

I’m the luckiest girl in the world to have all of these awesome people in my life!!  I hope you enjoy reading my blog as much as I enjoyed experiencing it!
